Botox is a neuromodulator. When it’s injected into a muscle, it inhibits that muscle from contracting. It has a ton of healthcare applications, but when it comes to cosmetics, it’s a phenomenal anti-wrinkle treatment.

Botox freezes the muscles responsible for wrinkles in the upper half of the face. It gives the skin a smoother and more relaxed appearance. It may also help prevent those wrinkles from getting worse over time.

Forehead

One of the most classic uses of Botox is on the forehead, to address forehead lines. These wrinkles are often caused by the action of raising the eyebrows, so we use Botox to relax those muscles and smooth out the forehead. Inexperienced injectors run the risk of causing eyebrow drooping by freezing those muscles incorrectly, but our registered nurses at SEV have the knowledge and experience to inject Botox safely and without negative outcomes.

Frown Lines

Botox is exceptionally effective at softening and even erasing frown lines. Also known as glabellar lines, these wrinkles can make you look angry even when you’re not. A Botox injection returns that serenity to the face and prevents those wrinkles from worsening over time.

Crow’s Feet

Botox injections are the best remedy for crow’s feet which are the small lines that form around the eyes when you squint or smile. Botox around the eyes won’t stop you from “smizing” but it’ll keep your eyes looking smooth, fresh, and awake.
